In life there are days that we get soooo pissed off. And there are some days that you get so mad, there is no cure. You realize that you will be mad at something or someone for weeks and weeks and weeks now. I have some solutions from myself and from my mom. Let me share some of my solutions to combat long-lasting anger.
1. Being sad is also getting mad, but destroying your room and throwing everything on the floor won't cut it off at all. Besides, being in your room mad is a dangerous place. Just keep that in mind. You don't want to end up cleaning your room after your tantrum.
2. Singing songs that relate to your mood is another good way. I recommend 3 songs from Anberlin. They can actually let go of your mad mood.
--"Hello Alone"
--"Dismantle Repair"
--"The Feel Good Drag"
These 3 songs have choruses that make you SCREAM your lungs out and let go of your mood. At the end, you feel good and your life is not in danger anymore. More recommendable, try singing "Hello Alone" first.
3. If you have a cat, it can be your guide to listening your problem. When cats see you crying, they tend to worry about you, because you are his/her mommy/daddy. They don't want to lose you. So open your heart and let them listen to your problem. Although they can't give you advice, but they want to confort you.
4. This is a yummy way to combat anger: CHOCOLATE!!!!!
5. Go outside and go for a walk, think about something that doesn't relate to your anger. Its like in that one commercial that you lose 1 pint of water everywhere you go, well think as if you are losing 1 pint of your anger a day.
6. Go EMO!!! (Ok, maybe not). Write poems and thoughts in your journal, but don't be all violent, like "I wanna kill him/her" or something.
I'm still figuring out more ways to combat anger but that's all I got right now. If you got more, I'll edit this and add it on here. That would be appreciated.
